Come Home to Yourself.
Anima Serena is a counselling practice for neurodivergent women experiencing burnt out and overwhelm… and likely very good at analysing it all. Together, we work on getting out of your head and into your body… so your nervous system gets to heal too.

A GENTLER PRACTICE
Healing is not becoming someone new.
It is remembering who you have always been.
Most of us arrive having spent years asking ourselves what's wrong. Together, we explore how your unique brain actually works and move into the body, not just the mind, to help your nervous system learn to settle.
Grounded
Evidence-based therapy paired with the restorative wisdom of the body and the natural world.
Neuroaffirming
Autistic, ADHD and sensory ways of being met as who you are — never as something to correct.
Spacious
Sessions shaped around your capacity, your language, and the energy you arrive with.
Considered
Trained in trauma, attachment, parts work and polyvagal-informed practice, held under ongoing supervision.

Individual Counselling
Ongoing, private conversation, online.
Some things don't need fixing. They need somewhere to be heard properly, without being rushed toward a solution. Counselling is a space to slow down, understand what's really going on beneath the noise, and find your own way forward at your own pace, on your own terms.
I take a person-centred, neuroaffirming approach: you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you.
Sessions often draw on trauma-informed, attachment-based, and somatic work (noticing sensation, breath, and how your system is arranging itself in the moment) so insight has somewhere to actually settle, not just stay in your head.

Still Waters - Group Program
A six-week group program for neurodivergent women navigating burnout and overwhelm.
Burnout doesn't always look like collapse. Sometimes it looks like holding it together a little too well, for a little too long. Still Waters is a small, closed group… a place to co-regulate alongside other neurodivergent women, and to learn skills that help your nervous system find its way back to steady ground.
Across six weeks, we draw on DBT, mindfulness, ACT, and IFS: understanding your nervous system, working with your parts rather than against them, and building a felt sense of regulation that lasts beyond the group itself.
This is a skills-based program, and may be covered under your NDIS plan's skills-building category.
